At Cary’s Fenton development, Sports & Social spans nearly 20,000 square feet of nonstop entertainment. Behind the scenes, Good News Electric played a vital role in designing and installing the electrical backbone that makes the experience seamless.

The venue’s standout feature—a massive 42-foot LED media wall and more than 30 HDTVs—required extensive electrical planning to ensure balanced power distribution, dedicated circuits, and backup capacity. Good News Electric designed the system so every screen receives consistent, reliable power without interference, even during peak usage when all TVs, AV systems, and lighting are running simultaneously.

Beyond the screens, the team also wired the building to support dozens of arcade and social games, each with unique power requirements. From high-draw machines like skee-ball and basketball shootouts to LED-lit shuffleboards and foosball, circuits were laid out to prevent overloads and ensure uninterrupted play. Layered into this were energy-efficient lighting systems, designed to highlight each entertainment zone while keeping the overall power draw manageable.
